I’d meant to post some text, but I can’t be bothered to sync the iPad right now. iCloud support for iA Writer would be a godsend for lazy moments like this. I suppose I could switch to Pages on the iPad but that’s not gonna happen.
Anyway, I wanted to post something tonight… Photo Booth to the rescue! My eyes are near bloodshot, lotta video viewing tonight. Recently bought the 4-disc Voltaic box set and finally got around to transcoding The Volta Tour (Disc 2) for the iPad. Bothersome the way the disc was mastered, the Live In Paris and Live in Reykjavik shows were broken up in such a way that HandBrake can’t create one video file with all the chapter markers intact. Had to create two files. Tried stitching them together with Quicktime Pro, but only the Paris show retains its chapter markers. So I have to settle with importing both files into iTunes. Could any problem be more First World than this one? I’m such a douche.
